Trench Shoring, the process of bracing the walls of a trench in
order to prevent collapse, is the latest addition to the product
range of ThyssenKrupp Steelcom, exclusively distributed for our
sister company TKBauservice/E&S Trench box and Krings shoring.
The Trench Boxes, recently showcased at the ACE EXPO 2009, were
among the featured products reporting good sales during and after
the show.
Leading micro Tunnelling and civil contractor Rob Carr Pty Ltd
has recently completed the purchase of twelve Emunds and Staudinger
Magnum Trenchboxes for their infrastructure projects currently
being undertaken in Sth East Queensland contracting to Abigroup,
Thiess John Holland and Tennix. The Trench boxes to be used primarily
for launch pits for their pipe jacking operations will provide
the capacity to structure their pits for depths of up to 6m, as
well as, 7m in length and a width of over 4.5m giving greater flexibility
across all ranges of pit sizes and applications.
The boxes of the Medium and Magnum class have cap-tured a leading
position in the market for efficiently laying unusually wide or
long pipes. What distinguishes these boxes is their outstanding
performance features such asshoring depth up to 6.00 m and trench
width of over 4.70m, with a vertical pipe clearance of up to 2.46
m.
ThyssenKrupp Steelcom offers total piling solutions including
hire and sell of steel sheet piles, impact and vibratory piling
hammers ranging from excavator mounted to large crane suspended
